My story...
Drawing and taking photographs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember...I began studying photography at Brown University, graduating with a Visual Art degree in 2000. During that time, I worked as the high school assistant photography teacher in exchange for dark room time at the Moses Brown School. For one semester, I studied drawing, watercolors, and the many flavors of gelato in Florence, Italy. I feel at home in museums...and also running around after toddlers until we capture that contagiously playful smile.

I continue taking digital photography courses, attending photography conferences, volunteering my time with several non-profit organizations taking photos and teaching digital photography, and filling my walls with portraits of my own three children. I officially opened my business in July 2009 and have been non-stop ever since...

The story of YOU in this moment...
Your portrait session will be on location, whether at a park or in your home, which allows you to slow down and interact with your family, or give children a chance to run around and be themselves. No stress! It is a photo journalistic style...I am capturing the story of YOU in this moment. My portraits aim to show your authentic selves; they are funny, sweet, and memorable. Clients tell me they had fun on their shoot all the time!

The sessions last one hour for families, children and high school seniors, and two hours for newborn sessions due to feedings, changing, and cuddling. After I have edited the images, I will upload them into a password-protected gallery where you can order almost any size print with a variety of mounting options, canvas wraps, and framing.

The fee for your photography session is $125. This includes my time photographing as well as the many hours I spend editing--all of the images you have printed will be fully retouched.

Please call at least one month in advance, and earlier if possible as clients will call three to six months in advance. If you have any questions, please call or e-mail me!

Cheers,
Beth
